Don’t Ask Yourself What The World Needs…
“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because, what the world needs, is people who have come alive.” – Harold Whitman.
I just love this saying …. I talk about ‘doing what makes your heart sing’ often when I am presenting talks and workshops. Are you doing what makes YOUR heart sing?
Our passion is what shows when we talk and is in our actions for everyone you come in contact to see. Is your passion showing?
For me, I love helping people build good solid relationships and showing them how to do word-of-mouth marketing successfully. I feel great satisfaction when I know that I have connected two people, who may not have ever met, who find the synergy that will help them move forward in either their personal life or the business world.
We are so blessed these days that we have the internet and that social marketing has become such a way of life for many of us. Of course, we need to learn the balance of not getting too caught up in SMM (social media marketing) that we find time runs out for other important things. I suggest to people that they find a time of the day/week that they can do the SMM without doing it ad hoc and wasting a lot of time. There are people in the marketplace who teach how to do SMM, so find out who they are and connect with them in this area if you need the support.
I value the relationships that I have made via SMM. Many of these relationships have become personal and have developed into one-on-one meetings, supporting us both to achieve what we are wishing to achieve.
Do you need help to move forward and reach the right people?
If you are wanting support with your networking, I suggest that you make a point of getting to know a networker as they will always support you achieve where you are going if it is in their power to do so.
Enjoy what you are doing with your relationship building and have your heart sing, too!
